GL GE couplings are designed to transmit torque between drive and driven components with zero‑backlash via curved jaw hubs and elastomeric elements, commonly known as spiders. The combination of these components provides dampening and accommodation of misalignment. GL GS couplings suitable for horizontal or vertical applications are constructed from a variety of materials, providing a torsionally flexible zero‑backlash platform optimizing the balance between inertia, coupling performance and application requirements.
